Water is an essential part of the health of a beehive and our mountain creek brings clear and cold refreshing water to these hard workers. we are fortunate that water flows throughout our mountain and provides the honeybees with plenty of it. Yes, bees drink water. They also use it to regulate the temperature of the hive, feed young bees, and dilute stored honey. Some research suggests bees receive nutrients from water as well.
